Helleborus: A Fantastic Winter Plant Part Two

December 18, 2020 by Katrina Hupfeld

Helleborus: A Fantastic Winter Plant Part Two: It has been a year now since I first purchased the two Helleborus plants, and they have lived up to the hype and then some. I ended up planting them in a shade garden at the base of the Chiltapa tree. It bloomed all Winter and well into Spring. The blooms slowed down in Summer, but the leaves were always very attractive. Here we are a year later, the weather has cooled quite a bit, and I can see the two plants are gearing up for a huge blooms. This wonderful plant is definitely on the must have list.

This particular variety is Pink Frost Lenten Rose – Mounding Perennial – Part Sun/3-6 hours of morning sun

Just to give everyone an update on the two beautiful Helleborus. The below pictures were taken on January 17, 2020. As you can see I wasn’t kidding when I said they were gearing up for a huge burst of blooms. ONCE AGAIN… they did not disappoint
